Privacy Policy
What happens to your data on this site. The short version: your photos never leave your device, and there are no cookies.
Company details are not configured yet. Set the NEXT_PUBLIC_LEGAL_* environment variables before accepting payments.
Your photos are never uploaded
Every image tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Photos you add are read from your device, processed by your own computer or phone, and written back as downloads. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
This is not a policy choice we could quietly reverse — there is no upload endpoint in the product. It also means we hold no photos, so there is nothing for us to lose, disclose, or delete on request.
What we do collect
Anonymous usage statistics. We use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, to count page views and a small number of events such as how many photos were in a batch and which platform preset was chosen. No cookies are set, no identifiers are stored on your device, and no data is collected that could identify you.
Your email address, only if you give it to us. If you submit the form asking to be told about new features, we store your address with Resend, our email provider, for that purpose alone. You can unsubscribe from any message we send.
Payment details, handled by our payment provider. If you buy Pro, the payment is processed by Hutko. Card details are entered on their page, not ours; we never see or store them. We receive confirmation that an order was paid, along with the order reference.
What we do not collect
We do not use cookies. We do not run advertising or tracking scripts. We do not build profiles, we do not sell or share data with advertisers, and we do not require an account to use anything on this site.
Metadata in your photos
Photos from phones and cameras often carry hidden metadata, including GPS coordinates showing where the picture was taken. Because our tools re-encode each image, that metadata is discarded and does not appear in the files you download.
This happens on your device as part of processing. It is a property of how the tool works, not a service we perform on your behalf.
How long anything is kept
Analytics data is retained by Umami in aggregate form and contains nothing personal. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. In practice the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email address and a payment record.
Write to us using the contact address below and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date shown at the top of it. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.
