Only the 20-photo limit comes from Vinted's own help pages. The dimensions above are our recommendation for the portrait app feed, not a Vinted rule — you may see other numbers on third-party blogs, but Vinted does not publish any.
How to resize photos for Vinted
1Add your photos
Drop in up to 50 files at once. JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC all work, and mixing formats in one batch is fine.
2Check the frame
The Vinted preset uses 4:5 portrait with white padding. Switch to crop if you would rather fill the frame edge to edge and can spare the margins.
3Process and download
Everything runs on your device. Download the photos one by one, or take the whole set as a ZIP and upload it to your listing.
Vinted does not publish any technical requirements for listing photos. There is no official minimum resolution, no maximum file size and no required aspect ratio anywhere in Vinted's help centre — the rules they do publish are about content: your own photos, no stock images, no watermarks, no collages, and the flaws shown honestly.
What Vinted does have is a portrait mobile feed. A landscape photo gets letterboxed into a small strip and loses most of the tap area that makes someone stop scrolling. So this tool defaults to 4:5 portrait at 1080 × 1350 pixels — not because Vinted demands it, but because that is the shape the app actually shows.
Straight from an iPhone, your photos are usually HEIC files of 3–5 MB each. Twenty of those is a slow upload on mobile data. Resizing to 1350 pixels on the long side typically brings each one under a megabyte with no visible loss.
